In the midst of a surprising amount of support from her fellow Divas, Kesha's musical career suffered another setback last week.

Ke$ha checks into Clinic For Eating Disorder, Dr Luke Blamed

Fans of Glitter Queen Ke$ha already have a reason to dislike her producer and keeper, Dr Luke, for being too controlling and creatively stifling. So imagine the wrath they will now bring to his door for his ALLEGED role in Ke$ha's eating disorder.

Dr Luke's influence over the extent of the singer-songwriter's musical output was brought to the fore during the airing of My Crazy Beautiful Life when the star commented on how little control she actually had over her second album, Warrior. The result of this- and subsequent -revelations led the Diva's "Animals" to create the "Free Ke$ha" campaign, whose sole goal was/is to release the Diva from Dr Luke's management (you can join the cause and sign the petition here) so she can follow a rockier path away from pop and EDM.

Watch Ke$ha *Ahem* "Rock" The 2013 Kids' Choice Awards

I never got the chance to say how much I ended up actually liking Ke$ha's new album Warrior, after totally hating on its first single, Die Young. But there you go, it's now out there for all to read, and I ain't ashamed of it!! Now that that's out the way, watch the Glitter Queen performing a medley of We R Who We R and, her last single, C’mon, at the 2013 Kids' Choice Awards.

Unsurprising to most, the performance wasn't great on the vocal front. But she did pretend to play a few chords on an electric guitar, so we should probably let her off for the slightly wonky delivery, right? Yes? Glad you agree! Swiftly moving on, at least Ke$ha managed to work into the arrangement some of the grungier, rock influences that she initially promised would be present (but weren't really) on Warrior. The Kids' Choice Awards didn't seem like the right venue for it, but I enjoyed it nonetheless!

Check out Ke$ha's performance below!

[Watch] Ke$ha Performs "Die Young" @ X-Factor

The notable absence of a post on Ke$ha's comeback single Die Young should speak for itself. It's not that I hated it, it was just that it sounded all kinds of generic, without any one thing to reel me. Hence it quickly dropping off my radar. However, her first live performance of the song on the Australian X-Factor has made me sit up (slightly) and take notice again.

Diva Devotee Halloween Playlist:

It's that time of year again when the freaks come out demanding chocolate and pennies, the boundary between spirit world and the real world is at its weakest and Lady Gaga fans put on regular clothes so as to not feel accepted by society. Yes, its HALLOWEEN! So while everyone else out there is having a spooky day getting dressed up and ready to party I'm sitting at my computer compiling  a play list of Diva songs- let me just tell you it isn't an easy feat- that I think would go down quite well at any Halloween party!

If you have any of your own suggestions please feel free to comment at the bottom!

Ben Folds cover Ke$ha's "Sleazy"

The former Ben Folds Five frontman has released a brilliant, shall we say "alternative" version of Ke$ha's2010 club track Sleazy in aid of the victims of the Japan tsunami. Hipsters will scoff and no doubt take pot shots at Ke$ha's version, while simultaneously declaring their love for Ben's, but they need to get over themselves and get into Ke$ha coz the gurl is fly!

OMG Britney Spears slicker than the remix "Till the world ends" featuring Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha. (Preview)

I can not believe the remix that is heading our way on Monday!! Everyone's favourite multimillionairess tramp Ke$ha- who is also the co-writer of the song- and rapper du jour Nicki Minaj have teamed up with Ms Britney Spears on a Dub-step inspired remix of the already stellar Till the world ends! OMG! Hopefully this is the shot in the arm the song needs to send it rightfully to the top of the charts!

Ke$ha can't sing: Listen to Ke$ha singing without autotune!

kesha cant sing
Popular dirt-bag Ke$ha is often lauded for her inability to sing. Cited as evidence of this fact is her choice to "rap" on her material and, on those rare occasions when a melody is called for, rely on copious amounts of auto-tune to hide and tune her real voice.

Logic would dictate that surely if Ke$ha had half a voice we would have heard it demonstrated at some point on her début album Animal, or even more likely- because these criticisms started after that release- on its reissue Cannibal right?

Ke$ha "Tick Tock" vs Katy Perry "Calafornia Girls"

Katy and Ke$ha Mash-up
If the photo on the left is anything to go on then super tramp Ke$ha's and kooky Katy Perry are firm friends in real life. So while we wait for the pair to duet in real life we have Dj Dizhe to thank for a virtual collaboration.

Listen below as Ke$ha's Tick Tock vocals are mixed with the audio, and chorus, of Katy Perry's California Girls in this summery Diva Mash-up!

Lady Gaga Mash up Mania

Lady Gaga Ke$ha and Linkin Park

Let me confess to the world my love for the music site Soundcloud. Hosted there is so much awesome music that has been created and uploaded by the general public for the world to listen to for free! On my searches there I found some brilliant Lady Gaga mash-ups (FYI a mash-up is when two or more songs are mixed together to form a new song). So sit back, listen and enjoy!

[Vocal Profile] Ke$ha

Vocal Type: Mezzo Soprano
Vocal Range: 3 Octaves 1 note and a semitone (C#3-E6)
Whistle Register: No
Vocal Pluses: Ke$ha employs a talk/singing/rapping style for the most part of her music. The voice generally is used in its midrange and is characterful and able to effectively communicate the mood and tone of the lyrics. Her skill in manipulating her delivery allows for Ke$ha to project a variety of different emotions: from obnoxiously bratty [Hear:Blah Blah Blah]; to cool and relaxed [ Hear:VIP]; to soft and melancholy [Hear:Dancing With Tears In My Eyes]. However there is an identifiable marker of nasal placement that runs throughout the range, as well as a characteristic teenage petulance. It is possible for her to somewhat temper this, singing with a timbre that is contrastingly warmer, softer and airier [Hear:Blow (Deconstructed)], but it's not used often.

Ke$ha's belting range is surprisingly wide- starting at a B4 and extending up to an F#5, [Hear: Dirty Love]. The quality of the notes produced here are bright and piercing but thin and somewhat biting. The tone, timbre and texture of the notes is consistent right through from the lower belting range to the higher notes. An unusual feat when contrasted with most singers, who find their belted notes thinning and changing in quality the higher they sing. Still, Kesha doesn't sound to be carrying any tension in her voice, even up at the top, which suggests a good technique and the possibility that she can go above what has been shown. She is also able to sing for sustained periods in this part of her range without issue [Hear: Supernatural (Deconstructed) or the held F5 in Crazy Kids/ E5 in C'Mon ]

Vocal Negatives:Ke$ha's use of autotune has led many to question whether her ability to sing is pure fabrication, rather than due to a stylistic choice.

Ke$ha: Shepherds Bush Empire 2010 photos

Kesha live 2010
Ke$ha at the Shepherds Bush empire.

My favourite celebrity tramp, Ke$ha, was in London yesterday performing at the  Shepherds Bush Empire. Ke$ha certainly looked like she was having a good, but did the audience?

Comment or  Email us with a review if you went. We'd love to post it with these accompanying photos.

Ke$ha " We R Who We R" : Review and Video.

Kesha's new video, for her #1 US hit, "We R who we R" has just premièred on the internet. It's a fun, if nothing special, video with people dancing, pyrotechnics, and Kesha jumping off a building.

Most notable in the video visuals is how Kesha has incorporated the current trend for outlandish clothes (favoured by the likes of Gaga and Rihanna) into her own, uniquely skanky ,style. With studded eyebrows, bullet chains, a fragmented mirrored dress and her trademark scuffed up boy boots, Kesha is in a league of her own.

The song is basically about going out to a club and and just going wild; and it carries her usual auto-tuned rap/singing, tough girl postulating.  It won't convert any one who didn't like her earlier stuff but it will give all the little Ke$hites something to dance to at the  fast approaching new years festivities and I love it and her.

Ke$ha is like Marmite, you either Hate her or Love her. Me, I love the trashy look and the carefree attitude. It's a nice contrast to a lot of artists who take themselves too seriously at the moment.

Below Kesha performs "Tick tock" and "We R Who We R" On Jimmy Kimmel Live. The vocals aren't really worth commenting on, and the performance was uninspired and tired... but I still love her though!
